I pulled them off and are now collecting dust. I atleast expecteded a too bad they are out of warranty response :/

Parts counter guys are always crotchety and grumpy, I think its pre-req when applying for the position. ;)

Disclaimer to any parts dept. employees who may be offended: I realized you are not all bad, it just seems, in my experience that a disproportionate number of parts dept. guys are fucking dicks.

My local parts guys are great. Maybe it's because they like my truck. And their prices are very competitive.

I'm pretty sure most parts guys start out as a fine wine and slowly turn to vinegar. Fermentation process went on just a little too long.

Boulder Toyota is awesome. Paul (the parts guy) has been there for 20+ years for a reason.

From my experience napa guys tend to be pretty cool and more knowledgeable then others.

Luckily the guys and both toyota dealerships are cool, might because I'm always in there though:D

Nice! I was just checking those roof top tents - pricey! I have to add that to my long and growing list of things I MUST own, like, immediately :)

I have an AutoZone walking distance from my house, so I tend to be in there a lot. Judging by how many cars and trucks you see with hoods popped in that lot, and all the busted parts people are dragging in and basically asking those dudes to walk them through the repairs, I could see them becoming dickish after awhile. Especially with all the budget cuts these days, under staffed, lines of people and the phone constantly ringing.

My Toyo dealership parts counter guys seem to be fine, despite the "Are you F'ing kidding me?!" reactions they must get when the price is quoted.

My dad ran over an employee once at Autozone once with 40 inch tires :anonymous: he was lying on the ground in between the parked cars looking at the one next to us and of course had no idea he was there. They made a rule change after that for their employees

This is why you don't do stupid things like lay down in parking lots. At a summer camp once a kid decided to lay down in a parking lot.... and well... he died.
