I know it's a loose term thrown around here but ideally, uniball uca's, 2.5 ext coil, relocated remote resi shocks, new leaf pack, ubolt flip, etc. I think I priced out my ideal king setup to be close to $3k which I will piece together, but can't drop that kind of cash currently. Meanwhile I can do full skids for $500 and give me the protection I need to keep wheeling progressively harder trails in the mean time.

Still going to redo the terminals when I get time to redo all the extra wires to the blue sea.

I rigged up a tonneau cover that I found on Craigslist for $25 to fit my bed. The cover was intended for a Dodge Dakota longbed (6'), so I cut the rails and cover to fit my bed while having the toolbox on. I found toolbox tonneau covers for $250+ online, so although this one aint perfect, it's great for a $25 job!

That's a Bussman HI-AMP (100 AMP) Circuit breaker. Not required, just extra protection for my fuse block and gear connected to it. I wouldn't do it without one.

Going to mount the relays between the battery and fender, tons of room and I shouldn't need to get to them very often.

Nice. What gauge/metal is the plate? Does it bounce at all? Or does it rest on top of those two vaccuum cylinders?

Nice! I am thinking of doing the same to add in a CB, rear view camera, mounts for GoPro cams (some day will get those to catch some nice video of trails), extra lights and such. I am thinking I'll just pull an old fuse box from a junker and mod it up, save some $$. I'll tuck it away and make it as pretty as I can.

I think its 22 or 24, I picked up the heaviest that Ace had on the shelf and made it work. Its not bendable buy hand, but was easy enough to put in the vise and hammer over. I have it bent tight enough to the vacuum canister that it holds steady.

GoPro coming this Christmas and I have lights waiting to mount, plus I need to figure out how to add flashing light for working events. I borrowed a guys mag light bar and wasn't a fan of it. I want to have them without it looking like I am a pace car driving down the road.

Thats not a bad way to go, but by the time you figure out where you would mount it, hopefully you have more room than I do, and wire up a whole fuse panel, I am not sure the time would be worth the $$ saved to me. I wanted to get the Bussman box that someone is seller here. The price is good, but I just couldn't justify it, so I "saved" by going with the Blue Sea.

I did pay more to the audio shop to do the cables than I wanted, but they look nice and it is done. Not waiting on me to barrow the right crimper from a friend and then do it.

I need to still do the relays and wire in a few more lights. When I do that I will clean up the few wires I ran to the block today.

Between the battery and fender. There is nothing there, just a hole for the air intake if it was rhd. so I am going to put a plate over there. No need to get to the relays unless one is broken.

I also paid the $1.25 for the relay harnesses from superbrightled.com, should make them look cleaner and make switching out a relay that much easier.

I finally was able to go back and read, but thank you for answering my derp question anyway. :p I really really like this setup, I think I may have to work off this idea. Is it a way to mount relays in a row like the bussman boxes? I just checked super bright LED's and only found singular harnesses. Also what are the opinions on a fuse panel here and then another fuse in 01tacomas location in the interior for the power to all the switches? or can the switch power all be run in a row?

As far as mounting the relays, that is all up to you. I am going to use the single harness and make them look good. Paint a metal plate and make uniformal mounting points with labels. I think the Bussman box is awesome, I wish I had the room in the engine bay to mount it. Blackdawg mounted his Bussman box in the storage bin under the jump seats (where the jack is).

I wanted to limited the distance from the battery to the fuse panel (4 ga wire isn't cheap). Also the location that 01tacomas used is already used for other things and wasn't available to me. You could have multiple fuse panels, on in this location and then another inside, you just have decide if you want/need then to both be off the battery or one piggy backed of the other. They max out at 100 amps, so if you piggy back them, you have to decide what the 2nd one's max amp usage will be and then subtract that from the primary's capacity. If you need two fuse panels, I would run them separately to their own breaker and directly to the battery.

If you take you time, plan it out, plan out your needs, buy the right parts and connections, you can make any setup work and look good.

I will do a full right up and post it on my website. Just have to find the time to do it.

Edit: Hella sells a 4 and 7 relay block, click here
