Oops, just realized that I typed voltage droop instead of amp droop, I'm an electrical engineering minor I should have caught my mistake. Well either way I'm sure Pliny thinks I'm both an idiot and an ass now. I'll certainly be interested to see how it turns out. :)

I want a white one so bad... My 92 ext cab pickup was white on 33x10.50 KM1's... Your truck remindes me of it. Kinda makes me want to cry lol. Hate I had to sell it.

I am meeting the potential buyer for my truck at his bank on Friday. He's been approved. Hopefully everything goes as planned and I can have a double cab by Christmas. He will be getting a good truck. I am going to miss the manual.

    DSC00501_zps9c867994_e257593bc50e825dd999165f522073d7a7db7fe4.jpg

tonight. (I cleaned all that mud off from around the plugs to avoid crap getting in.) Both were about half a quart low or so - not an exact measurement. Took a small test drive and seems OK - no major difference detected in my shifting. Yet. (ever?) :notsure:

Fill and drain plugs were easy to get off. The oil that came out of the t-case was not overly dark - still some honey highlights as it was draining out. The tranny oil was darker but not a choco milk shake thing going on that I could tell. Brown and dark for sure, like motor oil that is not overly burned up.

I bought a hand pump thing from AutoZone, but the thing is the damn tube would not reach the bottom of these tall gear oil bottles, even with the chicken shit tiny extension they provide. It would leave like 400ml behind. So, I cut one bottle down when it got to that point to get it all out, then did some bottle swapping to decant off 370ish ml to hold back (tranny takes 2.6 qts), and put the rest of my 3 bottles in. Should be pretty close to full.

Torqued plugs to 27 lb ft. Made small messes all over my driveway. Note to all - put down something to keep that oil from hitting your driveway. Will make it hard to detect new drips now, until I power clean all that off :(

So finally blew out my motor mount perches. I planned on getting the DMZ ones and did a quick fix to hold me over till I could order em.

Then remembered seeing famous fab created some and got em for 80 shipped! He should be sending em out tomorrow. That's a alot better than DMZ price of 129 plus around 15 for shipping. They essentially look the same

Well it was worth asking lol. I cant justify a motor swap in a tacoma. I drove a very underpowered 22RE for a LONG time lol. The 3.4 is way more than enough power for me.
