So glad I never had running lights. Still weird that it just now started happening...

 

I know that's odd. I live on a hill too so I engage the parking brake every day.

 

People just guess it's a defective part lol. A simple thing like the daytime running lights turns into a new harness or bulbs

 

Yeah like the daytime running lights that I never had. Jesus Christ give me a fucking break.

You're good chief. Just saying we established the issue already, but if I'm paying so much for headlights they better freaking work right.

 

Your problem wasn't coming from headlights

 

But did I know that? No. Did I ever have a DRL feature? No. It's all said and done now Logan.

I did the same thing so my retros wouldnt be on 24/7, worked for me.

 

Took my relentless bumper off and cut a hole in it, welded 2 bolts to it and started test fitting my winch.

Do you have a fuse in the DRL spot in the fuse box under the hood?

 

My guess is that you always had DRLs, just never noticed.

 

Maybe you do they just haven't started working yet haha

 

So I could've sworn I looked under and saw 2 wires already cut on the relay, rushed to work so I didn't get a chance to have a good look. I'll have to double check when I get back home, but I think the previous owner cut pin 1 and 2.
I read there were issues with cutting the black and white wire, although it disables the drls it is also a ground, and the simpler solution is to cut the green and white wire. Don't know why he cut both.

 

Put some fogs in today where the turn signals originally were. On the same note, I moved the signals to the corner lights
