Trimmed 3" off the front flaps. Cut one corner a little too sharp, but I'm leaving it for now. Not sure I want to trim much more off right now or ever. It will be nice not to get slowed down by a small puddle of water on the road.
Also removed the dealership sticker, finally.

Had to tighten my inner tie Rod and found loose skid plate as well. All tight again. Pretty sure the skid plate was where my noise was coming from

Not today, but this weekend. Had a Borla Pro XS installed in place of the stock muffler.

Yesterday I got a Trail FX bed mat. I could have gotten something on-line for maybe $10-15 cheaper, even afterr shipping but I try to support our local businesses when it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg.

Walked out this morning to find my doors weren't completely shut. All the change gone from the cup holders and shop keys missing. Great start to my day. No damage, so I don't know if I failed to lock up or what. Just a major piss off.
Time for a proper alarm and possibly some home surveillance...

Ya, I changed my house locks already and probably redo the shop tomorrow. There was nothing with my shop address in the truck but better safe then sorry.

At least no damage. When mine was broken into my dash was completely torn apart, touch screen radio gone, and the surround was in pieces. I actually just picked up a replacement part off a member on here.

I never leave home without it. There are many different ways to do a CCTV system nowadays. The best is high megapixel analog cameras hard wired to a recording DVR and the power supply for the cameras and the DVR are on a UPS backup battery system. This can run into 5 digits real quick like. An alternative is IP based cameras, little wireless ones at that. Once they go wireless they can be moved around the property within reach of the router as long as there is power available.

I have used these cameras for about three years now. I mainly needed the wireless part and the email on alarm part but if a normal PC is left running somewhere 24x7 they can all be recorded timelapse if desired. You can add cams as you go. These are at a friends house, mine at home is hard wired analog cams to a DVR.

No affiliation with the maker of these cams, I just thought I would show a very economical solution that is very practical. For the less than computer and IP literate persons there is a service where they will get your cam on line for you and tech support as well. Once the neighbor hood kids learn you have cams, they tend to stay away as much as possible. :)

Weekend project: Color matched mesh grille.

Some issues with the paint, might respray it, but overall a good look. I'll probably move the little lightbar behind the grille while I'm at it.

Changed the oil, installed a fumoto valve, rotated the tires (5 tire rotation), filled the washer fluid, greased the drivetrain, and inspected the underside for damage from the Barnwell run last weekend.

I did find a pretty good dent in the front cross member. Skids are on the list after the lockers.

Oh, and the gf's heep needs a new radiator. Guess who gets to put that in.
