Not being able to have a dipstick that is dead on with the specified oil fill amount is why the floor mats are revolting and the tailgates are bending and the leaf springs are missing one and all the seals fail prematurely and the radios are voodoo'd out and the compass temp things blow up and water leaks into cab. Damn troublemakin dipstick.................:D

I have come to the conclusion that the whole dipstick debacle is a conspiracy, or put another way, the case of the tell tale dipstick. Recently uncovered documents show a direct link between the President of Toyota Motor Company and a rich oil sheik Ali Ben Oilpumpin.

    The President of Toyota Motors.

This back room agreement reveals that Toyota was paid millions to accept an altered capacity recommendation for owners manuals to show a higher than actual oil level capacity, their by lining the pockets of the Saudi government and Ben Oilpumpin.

    Altered Capacity Recommendation

The side effect of this of course was general consternation among Toyota Tacoma owners who could not resolve the difference between the dipstick reading and the capacity information in the owner's manual. Toyota, who wished to deflect any involvement or responsibility continued to tell the owner's of these vehicles that the dipstick was OK and should be relied upon. Blown seals were detected by some long term owners but this was deflected by Toyota as a Chinese supplier issue. However, it was discovered that overfilling the crankcase slightly did result in increased payload capacity. An obvious net gain for Taliban operations.

    Overfilled Crankcase

A win win situation for the Jihadi globally since oil is plentiful and a blow seal means nothing to these people. Besides, the addided oil capacity resulted in a 17% payload increase.

So there you have it. A global conspiracy based on the length of a dipstick, or is it misinformation in an owner's manual. You decide.:D

Perhaps they should build them in Japan again.
