Foglights are for fog, not oncoming traffic!
If you have a good gunstore around or a gunshow, buy factory remanufactured rounds.
You might not get 5.56, have to settle for .223, but that's not really a penalty for plinking.
40sw is everywhere....you should be able to get it down to .20/round.

    Great stores!

For cheap 5.56, just get some silver bear or the like, no need to buy super expensive stuff just to plink (unless you will keep the brass).

You might want to aim before firing. It helps a great deal if you want to actually hit something.

I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
I shoot the winchester whitebox stuff from walmart in all my hand guns. Works great and never had a problem.

My son and I have been shooting remanufactured.40 S&W rounds made by Stone Manufacturing in Florida. While I had to buy 1,000 rounds to get the price I wanted it ended up costing 20 cents per round delivered. No problems and the powder they use is not as dirty as some others.

Get some generic 55gr FMJ, surplus WC844, once fired brass, and some Wolf SRM primers and you should be able to sustain your shooting habits on the cheap.
