    3'' Lift-Flowmaster exhaust-jvc head unit
    I have a 04 taco I bought used with no service manual was wondering what the ECT button is, ithought it was for towing like my chevy but I see no difference on or off :confused:

    it might be an electronicaly controlled transmission button. i believe it changes shift points in the truck to help achieve greater towing ability.

    getting there....
    it kinda "cowboys" your gears a bit....hold the shift points a bit longer. its for passing on the highway, and works well for towing too.
