I searched and found that someone else had this same question awhile back, but with no answer. I popped out the lower center rocker switch which i assumed was unused only to find out it has a cable run into it and dummied off. What option was this for? Its not for fogs or a locker cuz i already have those, so it must be for traction control? Just want to know if it is worth saving for later, or just using the slot now.

Could be clutch start cancel switch if you have the manual shift model. If I remember correctly that is where mine is located.

You are correct. I have a 5 speed with that switch in that location.
