what is the most reliable vehicle you have experienced?

I've only owed my taco so for 6 months so for me it's a 97 Saturn 4 door manual.

Bought it for my wife while she was in college and I ended up using it as a commuter car. It got 35 mpg, body was all plastic, and it always started and ran like a champ. In five years I think I replaced the plugs and a battery.

It was kinda fun to drive too

 

87 Toyota 4x4 truck. I abused it terribly and I think the battery, tires, and wiper blades were all I remember replacing in over a decade. Maybe there was a water pump, shocks or something else too. Had to be, but I don't remember doing it.

 

92 Toyota 4x4 truck

 

2004 Tundra TRD
328K miles in 10 years. New Cats and front upper and lower bushings.
If I had not wrecked it I would still be in it.

 

95.5 Tacoma hands down

Lexus. All of them (3). Toyota. All of them too(4). Honda. All of them(2-12 if you include motorcycles).

 

1966 Toyota Corona. Beat that SOB to near death and it always started and got from point A to B.
Tied with:
1993 Isuzu Pickup. 20 years of abuse and only replaced the headlight switch, the alternator once and the belts . Sold it with the original brakes and clutch.

 

For me it would have to be my 04 Isuzu rodeo 4x4, 6cyl. Bought brand new. 66K miles so far, nothing but regular maintenance and still running great.

 

My work truck is a 98 tacoma 2wd standard cab manual. Gets a bunch of miles daily and has never let me down. Runs on love.

 

So i responded to the thread on TW for unreliable and now reliable thread!Going to make it a simple response!TOYOTA has been the best for me!

 

For me it was a 1979 Chevy 4x4 short bed truck. Bought new in 1978, only a 6 cylinder and manual. Drove it for almost 14 years to include two trips to Alaska from Kentucky. Still running fine when I sold it. However, the floorboards were rusted though. Had it fully undercoated when I lived in Alaska, but still rusted though.

 

Were you inspired by my "most unreliable" thread i posted the other day op? Haha. i havn't had many vehicles, so for me it was my 2001 manual ford focus. I drove that car back and forth from Ma to Fl six times. I had it for several years and the only thing that went wrong with it was a noisy wheel bearing. It never once let me down. I've only been driving a tacoma for Ten months, so i cant speak for it long term yet.

 

Well its Alaska and that is understandable!Vehicles were made so much more solid back then and before then!Those were the the beginning yrs of the last of the real steel yrs!You could run through a concrete wall and the damage would be minimum in my opinion!

no, i started the "unreliable" one the other day. This one isn't mine.

 

'97 4runner. 215,000 miles and runs like a champ. Son puts about 50 miles a day on it still.

All 4 of my Toyota trucks. Been driving nothing else since '88 and zero breakdowns.
