My dad bought a new KIA Spectra back in 2005 and the car was abused by my dad until he passed it down to me at 160K. I put about 50K on it in about 2 years from driving 1000 miles every other weekend and it never left me stranded. Last year I got my first taco 2011 sr5 6 speed and the kia was passed down to my cousin. The damn thing still runs and I would not hesitate to take it on the 1000 mile weekend drive. The odometer stopped counting, the speedometer stopped working, the air conditioner stopped working, and the driver door won't open from the inside but still runs like a champ at 90MPH with no abnormal vibrations. Not bad for 15K huh? To date it has been the most reliable vehicle I have owned and I hope my Tacoma treats me better than the spectra!

My fathers 1995 corrolla. Damn thing was bullet proof ( 250K miles , lasted 15+ yrs, sold it for a few grand). Nothing but oil, tires and basic maintenance stuff. I bet that thing is still on the streets somewhere, ha.

My 03 accord exl v6 was pretty reliable. Never left me stranded. Tranny was starting to go though ( only reason I had to get rid of it which was a bummer and the brakes were notorious for warping, but never left me stranded. It was a nice capable well appointed v6 car.
