I want one of these jokers, but my Google/YouTube searches have come up empty because I don't know the actual name/brand of this tool. What is it and who makes it?

I've never seen one myself, but it appears to be a selectable DC power supply. Very interesting.

Of course, i would just do the same thing with any 12v battery.

Most definitely, but this one has the ability to supply voltage.

I'm trying to learn here, too. I've never seen a PP that has the ability to switch polarity.

I love my tools, but i don't think i could come up with enough electrical jobs to justify the purchase.

More commonly used to find shorts and opens in wire bundles. Inserts a low voltage in the circuit.

its a cool idea that's for sure. sucks its not wireless tho, like recharge a built in battery kinda thing cuz the fact u have to clamp it to a 12v source means really all u need are some clamps some wire and a switch lol could probably make one fairly easily hahaha I'm sure if we did some digging a wireless one exists for a superb amount of money

Hence any 12 v battery will do the same way cheaper.

You will always need a wire, at least a ground wire even if you have an internal 12vdc source.

IT's red, but I think that this one matches the one in the video.

    Way cool.
