    Hey,
If looking for a tire that looks aggressive but not a true mud tire then look into the goodyear duratrac. Ive ran them before and they are in my opinion a very good tire. They have great traction, low vibration and road noise and last a long time if rotated when they should. I hope this helps.

Along the lines of duratracs, i like the goodyear wrangler authority.
    Mud looks, a/t compound.

    So far so good.
Id be happier if it had the shoulder lugs of the duratracs, but i like the tr3ad blocks on the authority better.

    Course thats just subjective

Hankook Dynapro, great value priced all around tire that's quiet on road and will last for 70-80k miles.
Very popular tire here in the upper midwest where we have 4 seasons.

The stock ones on the TRD OR. Because they hold up to beatings on some of the toughest terrain you will ever traverse here in AZ (jagged rocks, cacti, mesquite thorns, etc. They drive great in mud and snow from my experience using them as hunting guide service and quietly on the pavement and they're the only thing that won't tax this gutless motor/tranny combo into complete misery. I've had duratracs in the past and I may go to them once these wear out but honestly I keep thinking I'll blow one here on this terrain and they haven't gone yet! If they do, I'll consider upgrading to a "C" Load because E-load is entirely overkill for this vehicle and the rotational mass would just destroy the 3.5L and 6 speed auto tranny. Performance of this truck powertrain is subpar as is IMO. There's no sense in throwing money into aftermarket tires when you don't need to.

I'll second the Dynapro's if you do mostly pavement and really light/infrequent off road, but I'm on Duratrac's now and probably won't ever go back to something less aggressive. Better to be safe for the few trips I do end up off road. Dynapro's will be less expensive and last longer, but even my Duratrac's are looking to pull ~50k miles as of now. Not too shabby for an aggressive, somewhat soft compound tire. Go with the Duratrac's over KO2's for sure if you're stuck between those two.

dynapros need to be rotated frequently there wear pattern causes excessive noise

Lol the OP said he doesn't off-road much. No need for things more aggressive than an AT tire.

I rotate mine at every oil change (5k) and have buddy's that go 10k and have never had a problem with noise or vibration.

yea i really like the stock kevlar off road tires too. they have treated me well so far. i would like a little more aggressive looking tire when i replace these....but i dont wanna lose the smoothness on the paved roads that have now.

no doubt.. but here in honolulu got access to lots of resources ....... costco is pretty good for tires they will order the ko2s and mount and balance for around 200-225$ per tire .... and we have a big toyota dealer SERVCO here .. huge toyota dealer ,,, for the trd pro sema wheels today they quote me 770$ 10% off msrp... i thought that was pretty solid!

I have BACK COUNTRY SQ-4 on mine and I really like them. Very quiet ride with very good traction in my opinion. Not as "badass" as KO2, but they have meat on them.
