    Dry aged ribeye knocks our socks off. Besides that most ALL of the dishes I fix using cut up beef chunks are always out of ribeye. It is extremely tasty to us and even on sale "grocery store red" as I call them run circles around other cuts!

    Porterhouse has always been my favorite. I also love bone in rib-eye,
    tri-tip, hanger steak and short ribs.

    Most of the time for sure but they do vary quite a bit. Not a fan if a ribeye is actually too lean

    Filet Mignon grilled on my Acorn, but thereby hangs a tale . . . someone feel free to demonstrate this is false. I've always wondered.

    We only buy local beef from a small butcher not 10 minutes from my house. I asked him for 5 lbs of Filet Mignon and he said, "sure, I can do that but why don't you just buy T-bone?"

    "Umm, because I want Filet Mignon?"

    He pulls out a T-bone, puts it on the counter and points to the roundy short side. "See that? That's Filet Mignon." He then points to the long side. "See that? That's New York Steak."

    I've doubled up on T-bones ever since and never bought the other two separately.
