Could you link the kit you used or what you used if DIY? I have been trying to rig up this exact setup after an interesting discovery that a tacoma > standard jump lead lengths when pulled into a parking spot.

    Used these connectors:

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007JMTS14/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

With this cable routed under cab

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KD2756W/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I keep it disconnected @ battery until I need it as I didn't want a full time 2 gauge hot wire under the truck. Might eventually put a marine battery disconnect switch in but for now just connecting the cable when I need it works fine.

I have a viair 400p automatic. It's pretty fast for a portable air compressor and 35" tires, I like it. I can hook it up the terminals, put the compressor down in front of my bumper and fill all 4 tires. The auto version also turns off after the air line is up to 150psi so it keeps the duty cycle down as I'm walking to another tire. The duty cycle is 33% which is about 20mins(only takes about 3mins a tire from trail pressure to street). I got this one since it was cheaper than the ARB portable one, I don't need on board air for lockers and I can toss it in another vehicle when needed.

It could easily still mount in the bed, you would simply need to run an extended air line and remote port. Makes for a nice setup and saves your underhood for other accessories.

Seeking Ideas for some clean and efficient plumbing..... I too have a Viar.

What I would like to do is connect to Firestone Airbags in the rear and also have a chuck available.

Is this accomplished by some kind of manifold ?

    TIA

I'd rather not think of all the $ spent :(
I don't have that setup up but when I planned on doing bags, I was going to run the fill to the bumper and put a tank under the bed. Then run a quick connect to the bumper. The goal was to have air at the bumper. I went a different route and got the compressor and mount from Jeff@ExE and replaced the springs. So far I'm happy with the compressor without a tank.

I've seen others here with that same set up. Curious to see what you come up with @Frito
