I just bought a Smith and Wesson M&P Shield 9mm that I would like to conceal carry. I haven't decided on a holster yet so I'm curious what you guys like and don't like. TIA

I like wrapped kydex appendix in waist...but there are about a million and a half holster companies

Expect to buy several and then pick which you like

I swear by my White Hat holster. It's a leather backing with exchangeable kydex for different pistols. I carry my Sig P938 mostly, but sometimes I switch the kydex for my G19. Check them out. You don't notice it while you're carrying. I carry about the 4 o' clock position.

I'd rather not think of all the $ spent :(
My EDC is an Alien gear IWB for my little Sig 9mm. But its like Jim said, depends on person (build), weather, clothes. If you have a good local store, i would go try tons of them. Mine is huge for the little sig, but it makes the pressure spread out and the weapon is hidden. Then tons of pratice drawing!

I bought a leather-lined Kydex IWB. Works great. I learned early on to not flex the belt loop when moving it from one pair of pants to another. The first loop lasted only a few months. Bought a replacement that has lasted several years with no problem.

My favorite holster was a beta test for a company just getting started but i have similar that suck that came highly recommended

Most people here would probably hate my favorite holster too bc it doesn't have that wide backer like crossbreed or alien gear etc
