I'm trying to find a cheap 3" lift. Not body! Bleh... But I'd maybe buy it but do you have a 4cyl? And I'm in Summerville.

Can anybody give me any insight on 2 things here.
    1. I have the black billet grille on the way so I'm looking for a newer toyota truck emblem to paste on that boy and can't seem to find one for sale anywhere online (maybe I'll go with the TRD emblem instead).
2nd, does anyone know the % of stock rear window tint on an '01?

Thanks for any help you may provide

    1. you could always use double sided tape to mount the orig one to the new billet and maybe paint it a diff color or something

    2. my buddy told me he looked it up and it was 20% but not sure if it was a reputible source

Edit: heres a DIY thread for an emblem http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/2nd-gen-tacomas/137003-diy-toyota-trucks-emblem-project.html. he has a mesh grille so i would use 3M double sided tape to put it on instead of using his bold on method

I want it to be all black and bigger. It's a pavement princess though since she's a PreRunner but that's alright. The original two additions my parents were gonna get is a sub and toolbox. If that gives you some kind of idea on budget. I'm buying HIDs next week.

Ya the toolbox will give me some extra storage and will look nice, prob paint it black too. And the small lift and tires is pretty good idea. The 2" will be a lot less than a 3". Guess I'll have to look for some tires.

Ya I'm kinda losing feelings for the sub, especially since I have a reg cab so the leg room will be shot. Bigger tires would be nice.

Until I could afford tires...I know a guy who his selling 33's with Chevy rims for 450. That would be nice to get em together. I like 01tacoma's idea.

he seems always to have good ideas
make sure the chevy rims would fit and 33s would be close to rubbing with a 3 inch lift
