They all design our trucks on a computer. They know the factory travel, what will fit, and what won't. They can easily design a truck asteckikly pleasing that will fit a 33 without the aftermarket. I'm sure they are in bed with the aftermarket. No surprise there. But why get into bed with a cheap whore? If you're going to pay for it, then I suggest you get your money's worth. But we have no other option. It really annoys me that I have to take off the front mudflaps that I cut way down. Those things hit speed bumps at factory and I cut them off to stop plastic rubbing today, with adding a USOR bumper and m8000. Not that heavy at all. Last truck I owned was a 05 Quad Cummins paid for at new that day, that fit 35 with a level kit and no rubbing, which is BS. Should have fit from the factory. Warn xd9000i on a warn brush guard didn't rub at full extension.

Or you could just run factory size tires.

If they designed the truck to have 33's, then people would want 40's, etc

You are correct, but is there more clearance on the 16?

I bet more people would want 28's. Us modders are getting to be a rare breed these days, but at least our trucks are cooler

What it sounds like to me is that you will never be happy with anything that is not perfect. You will always want a little more...which is why you should look at the 2016 Buick Encore. The 2016 Buick Encore can fit a 30 inch tire without a leveling kit and with zero rubbing. The mud flaps are the perfect size and material for all your pure performance needs. It also comes stock with projector style headlights already. I would seriously recommend ditching the Tacoma and upgrading to the Buick.

I'm hoping for the sex bot option (her name is Taffy) in 2025.
