    Buying HDMI cables?

I suggest looking at www.monoprice.com (or Newegg) and saving a bundle. I've been buying my HDMI cables from Monoprice and using them at home, at Mom's, and even giving them away as they're so cheap.

Monoprice offers a lifetime guarantee and a 21 day money back guarantee. Check out this FAQ for more info on cable specs (cable spec FAQ)

Check out this CNET review on HDMI cables (look here) or this article in Gizmodo

We bought 2 flat screens from PC Richards (after checking Best Buy and getting price match from our local store) and both times they tried to sell us the $99 HDMI cable.

We're not videophiles and we're not audiophiles so a cheap HDMI cable that works is perfect for us.

The Gizmodo guys hooked up a bunch of cables to a "Pulse Meter" and other such, but we just watching movies and CSI!

Cheap cables for me, especially when I can get them with a lifetime guarantee and money back offer...

When I bought my TV 3 years ago at the time I had a friend that worked at best buy. He couldn't get me a discount on the tv cause he said they watch how many of those they buy with their discount, but he said he could get me any cables I wanted at cost so I took him up on the offer. Those $80-$100 cables rang up at between $8-$10 at cost! It's pure profit for them. Now if I need any cables I just go online and order.

I'll second monoprice.com. Great cables with a great price. I've purchased quite a bit from them.

I'll third monoprice.com. I have been buying from them for the last couple of years. You can beat their price or service. I needed a couple HDMI cables and did not want to wait so I went to Harbor Freight and bought 2. I paid more than at Monoprice.com and they were both bad. I run my cables through the walls so I had double work replacing them. One thing about HDMI cables, they either work or they don't.
