Hey guys! I think this is the best place for this.

Long story short I make a lot of stuff for a living... Thinking about branching out and making tacoma/truck accessories. I've started making a lot of brackets/adapters/mounts and things for my truck after seeing how shockingly some parts are.

My question is... What would you buy if it wasn't so expensive? OR what would you wish was a simple little product?

If I can get 5-10 things that a few people seem to want I'll go ahead and make them on my upcoming holiday (I have some time off but can't go anywhere so I'm looking for something to do) if not... who cares! :p Think of this as just a little curiosity post.

For example here is a little bracket I finished today. Most things would be 3D printed but I could also machine aluminum on some things. This bracket would be $15-20 for a pair delivered just to give you an idea.

The ditch lights that mount to the hood hinges, those are some of the first that I'm looking at. Eventually I plan on going all out, but for now...

Me too, felt silly to pay $60 for such a simple thing. I'm mostly done the design now, just little fitment things to go, I'd guess $25 for a set delivered... sound good?

Exactly I'd feel dumb for paying $$$ for something so small, but I don't have the knowledge or the talent to make it myself.

I could probably figure it out, it may not be beautiful, but I could probably rig something up.

I would buy a bed rack that is compatible with tonneau covers in a heart beat if they were just a little cheaper. But I imagine its hard to create those due to the structural aspects such as needing to support a high amount of weight without affecting the bed rails etc.
