    I'm looking at a 1980 no op clean title 4x4 toyota hilux that is for sale near me, the owner says it ran good till the engine “smoked” about 15 years ago. It has a 22re with a manual. I want to build a rock crawler out of it but I'm wondering what other questions i should ask before going and buying it. Should i just worry about the same things like getting a tacoma. Like frame rust and what not
