I think you have good shocks already. A call to Bilstein in Poway, Ca to see if they can revalve for the new spring rate. They were able to revalve a pair of 5120s for me.

Those 3-5.5 do indeed end in 118, they are for 05+ though have they been ran on a 1st gen?

Right, the Fox website only lists 0-1" for 1st gen rear shocks.

I am running Icon 56501/56502 on my Dakars. They say they are for 0" to 3" lift. Stock bumpstops. No issues. Feel way better than the Nitrochargers to me.
    9.5"travel
    13.55" compressed length

Ran it about as fast as it would go (65mph flat sections, and jumped the shit out of it) on 2 back to back 37 mile runs, and a short course in the second half of the day TRR in May. It made the shocks pretty hot, but the seals held and there was only a little fade. If I were to do it again I would get the reservoir version of the same shock. I run it as hard as it will go, and daily drive it. I keep a full set of tools in the bed box also (200lbs). I was and still am pretty impressed with I just need more oil for combatting heat soak and fade. Other than the resis, it's as much as you can get out of it with the shock mounts still in their stock locations.

Fronts are extended travel King 2.5 coilovers (600# springs) valves by Micah @Downsouth Motorsports on Total Chaos arms poly bumpstops. The rears are Icon 2.0 no reservoir part number: 56501 and 56502 (left and right are different for stock mounting locations). And Dakar leaf packs. Braided extended brake lines all around.

I learned the hard way about not carrying tools. I live rural so there is no help coming.

Dig the setup ! Similar to mine. Have you ever ran icons up front ? That's what I have the 2.5 extended travel but I have 550lb Springs . Have some 600 or 650 laying around in my garage though. Been contemplating switching to Kings up front, just never have ridden in a Taco with kings before

I switched to Kings on this truck because I broke the upper mount on my Icon extended travel 2.5"s on my prerunner. The Kings ride like a Caddy and stay cool even without reservoirs. The Icons rode good on the street, but I like the progressive valving better for what I use the truck for. The off the shelf valving in the Icons ride great in the rear though

@Junetaco03 - It looks like your BPV (Load proportioning valve) arm is missing. How do your brakes feel? With this arm removed, if nothing else has been modified or adjusted, most of your braking power is going to your front wheels and you'll be burning through front pads often.

    junetacoBPV.jpg

The image below shows the BPV in its original state - I highlighted what looks like you are missing.

OME nitrochargers. I like them, and will probably replace with same again.

Where in CA are you located? If you get new Dakars, I may be interested in your current leafs depending on what they are. Currently running 1in toytec left shackles, with wheelers 3 leaf AAL, and 9in travel 5125s. Standard All Pro leafs may be a good pair for me since I don't carry much weight.

I have some cheap Slyjacker Hydro 7000s on the back of mine! Selling the truck so didnt finish out the back to match the front 5100s. Next owner can do that if they like
