What remote starter do you suggest?

Ready mode is only a sequence you need to do for manual to ensure you don't remote start in gear. HKEY AUTO also has key override, but since it's automatic, you can just exit the vehicle, remote start it and get in and drive off after putting the key into the ignition, tapping the brake pedal once and off you go!

I have video coming soon of an N2 customer flying (piloting) his private plane and starting his vehicle parked near the runway ON APPROACH. YES. BEFORE EVEN WHEELS DOWN/TOUCH DOWN.

Hardware wise. Not very similar. The same. Differences? Cost, support, vendor interaction on and off the forums here, etc..we are exclusive here for a reason. I know the owner. I've worked with them in the past and I'll just put it this way, my business model is a little different. I respect them as an operation. Some will have opposing feedback on experience, which is fine. Everyone's experience varies. So if that's the case, I'll challenege someone to find one bad review here on or off the forums about N2 Designs...just one. Shouldn't be hard, right? I'll just leave it at that.

I am about to buy one for my truck, and a lot of people in previous threads love 12 Volt.

Interested in hearing from N2 why I buy their product over 12 Volt?

 

Because it’s basically the same product that we all sell and jimmy provides good support.

 

does n2 have pit stop mode? Like can you hit a button on the fob, take the key out while it’s still running, lock it after you get out with it still running, go into store and get coffee wit your keys, then come back out to a nice warm truck that’s still running and put the key in and just go with no restart?

Cause 12V does

 

The ones I sell you can do that, so would assume N2 would as well.

I will let you in on a small secret though. Our stuff is universal, if you get a new vehicle or lease return, take it off and keep it! There is a 50/50 chance that it will work on the new vehicle provided that:

There is a plug and play harness made for it. And so you can always send it back to us for a free re-flash with any harness purchase for the new vehicle. Potentially this saves you hundreds of dollars from having to start from scratch all over again! Our competitors don't advertise or tell you this, in fact the one you're comparing me to, won't sell JUST A HARNESS. They make their own in-house harness and so you're tied down to that kit, for that vehicle in which you purchased it for, for life...and you paid more. These are facts. I used to have a working relationship with the owner, I can't knock the company and prefer to NEVER bad mouth anyone for a dollar as it's bad karma, but these are facts.

The choice is yours. Do your research. I challenge you to find ONE bad review about us on or off the forums. Shouldn't be hard, right? Good luck with that!

It's called idle mode. Yes. But not on push to start Toyota/Lexus. Only keyed.

 

You guys ALL have great questions, really do, and as much as I appreciate them and enjoy enlightening folks, just know they are all great companies, great products. Do your research, if you have questions, feel free to message me but I don't to play devils advocate publicly because I feel like it's not ethical to keep stating why one company is better than the other (to me it subtly putting someone else down) . I wouldn't want 12VS to be put into the same situation and even though it's happened without my same sentiments stated here reciprocated, I will always take the higher road. Always. I will LET YOU GUYS DECIDE and ask amongst each other or via PM to me. I prefer to respect everyone's company and business and do not want to be put into a corner where I am "defending" either/or. A businessman with integrity, don’t find many of those these days! Good stuff. I’m sure you will sell many, I jumped at the 12V system cause initially I thought it was the only one out there that’s plug n play. Guess I was wrong though.

 

As long as you're happy with it, that's all that matters!

 

Sorry, would need to also be doing it via RF fob or Smart phone, again not PTS. Not very many people use this and it introduces more bugs than needed for locking and unlocking, accidentally locking vehicle keys inside and a plethora of other unknowns. We personally stay away from it.

I've had my 12voltsolutions for 3 years now and zero issues. I'd say 12volt or N2D, I've head N2D has great products and customer service as well
