keep the nerf bars or take them off, i'm thinking about taking them off, i dont use them, truck is going in for window tint on tuesday and i've been kicking around the idea of painting my flaking wheels black, i think the silver bars will clash with the red/black theme

i personally think the truck would look sickkkk if u paint the rims black, maybe take off the side steps or paint them black? and debadge and maybe paint them black too and put them back on?

I think the truck would look cleaner and meaner with them off. I used to have similar ones on mine before lifting it, and they always seemed pointless. painting your wheels would be cool as well, but definitely pull or paint the bars them black if youre gonna do that

yeah that would look pretty awesome, i'll keep the "black badge" idea in mind, not sure if the paint will hold up very well on the nerf bars tho

I think they look fine, they're functional as steps and off some protection for the sides of your truck. No sense in buying sliders if you don't go off-roading. As far as blacking everything out, personally I don't see the point in paying for nice aluminum wheels just to rattle can 'em but to each their own.

I have the same color 07 TRD Sport Double Cab and i am getting ready to paint my rims flat black, and i just took my nerf bars off tonight. So imo i would take them off and sell them.

I like them off. It makes the truck appear to have more of lift w/o them.

I say take em off, I think it'll make the truck as a whole flush better without them.

I still have mine. I'd take them off but then my lovely wife and son wouldn't be able to get into the truck anymore, so: stay for me.
Maybe I'll upgrade to something more pleasing to the eye (n-fabs) when money allows.

Take the nerf bars off and pickup some Avid step rails in the future and don't paint your rims...

Step rails make the truck look lower than it needs to be.

I'm more a fan of step bars than nerf bars but it's your truck so my opinion shouldn't matter. If you like them keep them.
