Hello, I am new to Tacoma's, bought a 2013 stock TRD. I would like to put a 3in suspension lift on it, however, everywhere I look people are saying different parts are needed. I have been looking on Bilstein's website and there is so much different stuff at very different price ranges. My question is what do I need to be looking for as far as parts included in the kits? Any help would be awesome! Thanks!

20% Tint, OME 3"complete lift with Dakar's, Light Racing UCA's, 285/75/16 Nitto Terra Grapplers, 10 HP TW sticker, Ultraguage, B.A.M.F. Rock Sliders, MedicFab Bed Rack, Relentless front bumper, Air Flow Snorkel, Ham comms, Tech Deck
With Bilstein it's 5100's with either Old Man Emu 885's or 887's (I believe 887 is the other one) set at 0. Back either a AAL or a leaf pack like OME Dakar's.

Main thing will be you budget for the lift.

    Welcome to TW Luke

Welcome, what cab config and drivetrain do you have?

    As mentioned above.. budget?

A good entry level kit will run about 7-8 hundo, add upper control arms for another 4-500.

A dope kit that includes a healthy dose of TW admiration will run about 2-2.5k.

Bumper, Winch, 315s, Sliders, OME HD lift, Custom rear swingout, roof rack, drawers, way too much to list.
I'm running Bilstein 5100s with 887 springs (set at 0) and Freedom Off-Road UCAs in the front and 5100s in the rear with a pro-comp Add a leaf. This gets me pretty close to level and 2.75 inches of lift in the front.

Awesome, thanks guys, it's an access cab 4x4
I was trying to spend around 1500 if possible. So the OME Dakars will provide the lift while the Bilstein 5100 will just be a more supportive suspension?

Go the Bilstein 6112 shock route far better than 5100 and do some Dakars in the back with 5160 Bilstein.

So mwc273 and 1BDTACO, comparing the 2 options it seems as if the prices will be about the same and it seems it will be about the same package minus the Light Racing UCA's. Which is the better option? The Bilstein or old man emu? Sorry for so many questions, just want to get it right.

I have the ome medium lift, if I would have done it again I would have gone with 6112 with ome coils and Dakars and 5160 in the rear for better drivability and comfort.

Agreed, from the research I have been doing this is the setup I will run if I decide to go budget. The 5100's were the go to a couple years back until these models came out.
