What size lock for the bed storage cubbies?

I tried searching for this and came up empty or just flat out missed it....I've seen others post about changing out the oem "turn latches?" and replacing them with keyed locks for more security. I'm looking for the correct size (length and offset) of the locking mechanism. I've found several different sizes, would like to order the correct size only once this time!....for this mod. That is exactly what I used.

A bit of Dremel work will get 'er done.

I like those barrel locks. I am half tempted to upgrade mine to those black ones.

 

Probably not. I had to use the long, straight cam and bend it slightly toward the lid for it to engage tightly.

If you are there and they have three with the same key code, you should grab them.

I have not had a problem with dust or dirt. I mainly haul boxes, pallets, and such. I prefer to shovel out of my trailer.

You can blast them with graphite or WD40.
