hello i have a 2017 tacoma SR5 3.5l v6 extended cab and im looking to get new spacers. i know that the sizing can be difficult so i want to make sure i get the right size. im looking at 3" spacers but besides that i dont know the specifics of what other measurements i need to get right. im seeing a lot of 6x5.5 and 5x4.5 and im not sure which one actually fits

A 3” spacer is asking for problems..

3" wheel spacers?! o_O its 6x5.5 but I wouldn't advise doing that, a spacer that large is asking for wheel bearing failure

What size would you recommend? I just got the truck yesterday i dont know much about it. I’m finding that a lot of spacers available won’t fit with my 2wd model

In older year Tacomas, 2WD could mean 5-lug e.g.

If your truck has 6 lugs, then you can use wheel spacers intended for "4WD" models.

1.25” spidertrax or Bora that’s the only spacers I would run. IMO

Like others said, 3" is a lot. This is mine with stock wheels and 1.25" Spidertrax. They sit around 1/4" past the fender.

You don't want 3" spacers. That's a recipe for disaster.

Pretty sure it would rub regardless. Seems like I saw a guy that had 17x9 with-35 offset and stock tires that rubbed so I assume unless you clear the fender entirely, you would have issues.
