    Hello TW!

My truck has always done this since new. It only happens on speedbumps or when offroad. It hapens once, then doesnt happen again for a while. Takes like 10- 15 mins for it to happen again. Its on drivers side 100% and i can almost feel it with my feet.

My ranger did the same drivers side clunk for 7 years and i never had an issue. Im just curious what it is and will bring it up to my dealer when i will come in for the new fuel pump.

Its not brake slap 100%. Any ideas?
    Body mount?

    Sorry for wind noise.

Edit: its the loud clunk/click at the end of the video.

Try it again without wind noise? Is it a clack or a clunk? Mine did it on stock OR suspension but went away after fox suspension. Could've been the sway bar spacer too though.

I would snug up all skid plate bolts and check the lower control arm bolts for looseness.

Loud click or clunk at the end right? Have you replaced the front body mount yet?

Oh yeah. Search for body mount issues here. Now in fairness, it's usually more of a squeak, but it can clunk if it gets bound up metal to metal. I replaced mine with some Energy bushings if I recall correctly.

I had this same noise. If the body mount doesn't fix it. Is your front shock/coil assembly.

Fought this with the dealer for about 20K. They replaced the front shocks/coils and didn't hear it again.

My truck has done the same thing since almost new. Replaced front body mounts it didn't go away. Dealer blames it on cracked sheet metal above the body mount. Been waiting for more people to get this issue/find a solution before I spend the 2grand at a body shop to fix my cracks. Keep us posted

Random thought here that is far less likely:

Have you added anything new up front? When installed my LEDs, I heard this noise and thought for sure that I had the bushing issue. Even ordered them from Amazon (before cancelling because I jumped the gun). Turns out, I had positioned one of the LED drivers in such a place that it fell and was banging against the bumper over larger bumps. Tucked it up better and it hasn't been an issue.

Can you recreate the noise by cycling the suspension when not moving?

Cool. I will hear my pads shifting in the calipers from time to time. I definitely know that the calipers are fully backing off.

His sound is the same as the one I had. Said it once, Ill say it again. It was after they replaced the front strut/coil assembly it was no longer an issue.

I had a similar sound and it was my front stock skidplate hitting on another piece of metal when I would go over a bump. I just had to bend it a little bit and that fixed it.
