Looking to get some new tires. I have not been happy with the stock Goodyears in the rain. What are you running that feels confident in the rain? Especially as we get smacked with this late season storm.

Love my Cooper Pro's in all weather conditions. Had Ko Poo's and they sucked in the rain terribly.

Love my Falken Wildpeaks in the rain, it's the reason I got them over KO2s, seen too many complaints of others brands failing to grip on wet roads.

I would be interested in this too
I literally just got the nitto ridge graps last week after putting almost 95k on some duratracs that I never ever had a problem with in any condition.

@slcsez2000 Are you second guessing the Nittos? Or just curious in general? They are on my list, but haven't read too much about them. I was looking at a chart on tire rack where you can sort by condition. Seeing Pirelli, Cooper, Conti, Bridgestone. Tires that are really popular on TW aren't even on their chart though - including Nitto.

If you are mostly pavement and light offroad, Michelin Defenders will be better than any AT tire.

I am curious what version you guys are running? Their similar P rated tire on an SUV is great in the rain and snow.

I like my Cooper Discoverer AT3’s (Load Range E). But those pro’s look cool so I may have to try them next.

So far I love my WildPeaks, only been on them for approx 5K. I had the BFG KO2's Load C and they were horrible in the rain.....

    not second guessing
I just was doing this same thing for at least a year trying to figure out which tire was going to be my next one lol. Good Wet conditions handling and a good highway all terrain that had a aggressive sidewall was what I needed.

with as good experience I had with the duratracs I really almost went back with them but with having the same set on 2 different trucks and having that set for 7 years I wanted to look at something different lol!

thought I would give these nittos a shot

i also use Cooper AT3 LTs E range. i switched to them from the STMaxx so i could get safer wet weather performance on road. they are both excellent tires but the AT3s are way better in the rain.

Since when I first bought truck I wasn't planning on doing anything crazy and I was only at 265/75R16 I just went with the SL rated tire. Eventually I may go to the E rated 285/75R16 but who knows, can't vouch on performance of that size/rating/compound.

I’m running toyo at3 and so far I’ve been very happy and they’ve outperformed my ko2’s. But at the end of the day it’s your choice. Well just argue with each other over what tires the best.
