What to do. Ideas please.

So when I bought my truck new it had plastic Weston running boards on it with lights on each end that would come on when you unlocked the truck in unison with the dome light. Years later they cracked so I replaced them with 4" tube running boards. So I have 12v wires running to each side of the truck and I'm looking to maybe put some lights underneath or something.

First off my user name fits me so trying to keep it simple although I do have a knowledgeable friend that could help me.

 

Try to put these, or something like it, in place of the light you had.
