I have Wheelers 5 leaf pack and the 5100's should be here this week. I also have a 2'' spacer for the front strut. What would you use and what setting for the shocks. I think I need to not use the spacers, but I bought them before deciding on shocks. Ideas please. My neighbor is going to start when the shocks arrive. I do not do any off roading.. The vehicle is an 04 DC Prerunner, with factory size 16'' tires. Will I need an alignment afterwards?? Thanks.

Heya, I'm doing the same thing. I think you should bail on the spacers (in fact, I don't think you can use them with billies, but maybe I am wrong), and set the Billies at the second setting up from stock (0"), which Yotadan at Wheeler's said he thinks is about 1.25 on the 1st gen billies. I am finding it hard to get an exact answer on this. Mine haven't shown up yet. I think it is 0, 1.25, 2.5.

I have a cap on my Xtra cab, so I expect that weight to bring the rear a hair lower than the advertised 5-pack lift of 1.5 inches. So I figure that would be close enough to level, maybe a little rake, which would be fine for me.

You have a double cab, so I imagine that would be about right for you, too. Tacomaman06 has the same leaf pack on his DC, only he put OMEs on the front (got new coils and struts).

We are still discussing all this stuff on the group buy thread, by the way...

Just put 5100s on mine this morning. The backs were cake, I left the rear stock so no lift there. The fronts I put on the highest setting. It then went to the shop for an alignment.....yes you will need to do that.

The bottom setting is supposed to be no change

    The Middle setting is 1

The top setting is supposed to be 2-1/2

Although I am not sure I got quite that much. I do know that it rides a helluva lot better than the stock Tokicos did

Here is what it looks like:

The front sits slightly higher now and I think looks pretty darn good! Word of advise, have a shop swap the springs over for you (after you take them off the truck) Unless of course you have very good springs compressors. Its wortth it to pay an hour of labor to have the shop do the springs!
