Could go with a Flowmaster 40 series or Magnaflow. For the best performance wait for the blower that will be coming out from TRD here in Sept or go with the URD solution to Forced Induction!

do you know if the SC's are bolt on?

also i wanna stay away from exhausts for now i was thinking more along the lines of intake systems or chips.

For the most part yes a SC is bolt on and anyone with some mechanical ability should be able to handle it in a weekend at most. If you do get an intake I recommend an exhaust as well (no sense inhaling better if you can't exhale as fast) and stay away from "chips" they don't exist for Toyota. Get yourself a MAF calibrator from URDUSA and tune it.
