I have received a feedback survey from Toyota for my purchase of a 2010 Tacoma Prerunner. It has a question limited to 400 characters as to what changes would you like to see. I've seen several comments since I've been a member about seat coverings (i.e. those who don't like the mesh versus a smooth fabric) and will be glad to delivery feedback on my survey. Thanks!

Leather is an option on my survey and appears that most want leather as an option.

I don't think dealers will offer options - mine was satisfied to "sell as-is" and didn't offer any upsell which is ridiculous when you think of the margin possibilities to a dealer. Another thing I'm also going to put down on this survey is that when purchasing a new vehicle, you should be given an extra discount to use within 30 days to buy optional equipment.
I'm hoping maybe they're actually looking at these survey comments since there is "renewed" concern at Toyota about a quality product and meeting customer expectations.

I hate leather in my vehicles. I was ok with the cloth but I put TRD seat covers and Wet Okole rears but I know they will not make neoprean and rubber a factory option.

Neoprene doesn't really "breathe" (i.e. wetsuits are made of this and have you ever had one on for a period of time - it's ain't good) and although it would be resistant to moisture and "ground in dirt," I would think it would get terribly hot and sticky especially when in warm seasons/climates.

I am really super old and like really super out dated old school crap that no one does any more. I always like the saddleman blanket covers.
