Not my first one, but this was my first post that gained some traction. I was panicking as I was trying to flush my power steering system and I didn't realize I kept the reservoir uncapped and it spilled all over my accessories and driveway.

Here's my true first post. I was in the middle of redoing my truck's stereo system and asked about rear extended cab speaker mounting brackets. I posted it on August 24th, 2016.

Never realized posting that thread about a simple speaker upgrade would manifest into the abomination of a truck it is today.

it was on my very first tacoma silver 2000 v6 with a SC. (frame rot was to bad to save her) she had a drop bracket lift on 5" lift blocks. felt like driving around on a brick ox cart. https://www.suspensionconnection.com/54900.html the lift the previous owner installed. i tried to figure out why the rear and front was so bad and i received major flak for the lift lol. so i guess thanks to the previous owner of that 2000 tacoma now im in the TW money pit. :D going onto 4 years for me on TW and never looked back on joining.....yet :p

Ooooo some before and after pics would be fun.

Here's a picture in my school parking lot when I took it out for the first time on my learner's permit sometime in 2015 when it was still bone stock at 74,000 miles.

    IMG_6796.jpg

And here's a fairly recent picture from about December 2017 before I did my 4WD swap up in the hills.

    IMG_5811.jpg

And the latest picture, I took it last Sunday morning. The family includes my '98 5-lug now. And that '07 Honda Civic parked behind it.

(That transmission oil stain is from our 2000 E320 don't worry :anonymous:)

    IMG_6797.jpg

I just did my SMOG the other day and the truck now has 93,000 miles. I've put about 20,000 miles on it the past two or three years just commuting to school a couple miles away and around the area.

Yikes, not to mention the absolutely mindboggolingly stupid and dangerous designed Trailmaster lift which essentially bodges a well thought out double a arm suspension into some MacPherson strut Frankenstein garbage suspension using thin sheet metal, cast extensions, and VW shocks. Fuck that

That truck was and still is the best $6k I have ever spent. Holds the fastest frame inspection failure in history. lol and Toyota sent me a check so I can get my current tacoma free.

My first post was April 11, 2016. Tacoma World prompts you to “say hello” as a real-world introduction on how to post so it was one of those generic deals.

Then I promptly went into asking about how much rubbing a tire setup had on a lifted first gen I liked.

As with every first time 4X4 owner it was imperative that I stuff as much rubber into the most lifted wheel well I could with no rubbing and no negative effects on the remainder of the suspension.
