What will a 4 inch lift kit do to my gas milage

What will a 4 inch lift kit do to my gas milage, and handeling?
I was thinking about a 4 inch lift kit, becauce it looks good and will get better ground clearance, but I am not off road much and wondered how it would effect the truck while on the road? How much would it cost to have a lift kit put on?

 

if i were you i would go with a 2.5-3 inch lift, once you go above 3 inches you have to go with a drop bracket with lowers your clearance actually.

the bilstein shocks you can put on yourself very easily!

the lift doesnt decrease gas mileage, but the tires do. depends which size tires you go with

 

expect a 2-3 mpg drop, with more if you have an aggressive tire
