Honestly, id rather no one know if our system works or not. preferable for Japan to just use their system.

I heard on Fox news radio we have 4 nuke subs over in Guam right now. I don't feel it would be in NK's best interest to do anything other than tuck their tails between their legs.

There is no question in my mind that we could lay NK to waste without breaking a sweat - but Seoul and much else of SK would be destroyed by even conventional weapons from NK before the shooting stopped.

No argument there. That is what NK has played off of for years.

My worry is not the actions NK would or could take in reaction to any "locked and loaded" style actions taken by the US.
My worry is the actions of all other countries after seeing the US action onto NK.

Don't want to beat a dead horse here, so this will be my last post on it.

I never said the US started the war, I said we shared in responsibility for it. Wars don't just happen overnight.

Every book I've ever read says Koreans were not included in the decision to divide their country and give it to two different powers to govern. Why would any country want that anyway? Certainly not a country that just endured 40 years of Japanese rule. I'm always open to learning though, so if you have a reference that says otherwise please share it and I'll read it. Really.

For those who do have an interest in learning why we are where we are today, here are two books that are well written, easy to read, and very informative:

    https://www.amazon.com/China-Mirage...d=1502490262&sr=1-1&keywords=the+china+mirage

    https://www.amazon.com/Koreas-Place...90203&sr=8-1&keywords=koreas+place+in+the+sun

This will end my history lessons. Sometimes history is not what you think it is. I'm just reporting what I've read from many historians over the last 40 years. Many people don't like history and don't care and that's cool.

You said we encouraged Japan to invade Korea that we "built that monster" - the fact is the Korean War started with a commie invasion from the North. They weren't included in the decision to divide their country? The South was invaded from the north and saved by the US and the UN - it was divide - or surrender to the north overrun. Your history - and logic- is deeply flawed.
