What would cause this in paint?

    Dropping it off monday they'll have it for 2-3 days so they say. Hopefully they do a good job.

    Picked it up last night.

    Must say I'm actually pretty impressed with the job.
    Only in direct sun light focusing really hard can I tell it was redone.
    If I didn't know where it was I likely wouldn't notice.

    Love the happy ending. Like others, I think this was buffed through. My guess is that you had rail dust on the vehicle when delivered to the dealership. When trying to detail, they got a little too aggressive on that edge.

    damn I just seen a flat white spot on my super white Tacoma. I might have to bring it in the dealer and have it checked as well and my Tacoma is only been a year old.

    after a year I doubt they'll do anything for you. but worth a try.
