What would you do...lift now or lift later?

So here's the deal...I just purchased my new truck a couple weeks ago- 2015 DCLB Sport 4X4.
I am wanting to lift this truck 2.5" - 3" and have been researching all of the options. With the lift I want to add new wheels as well and UCA's.

Thing is my wife and I are going on a cross country trip in the next couple of months. We plan on basically driving around the whole country over the course of about 3 months. I plan on hauling a small camper trailer as well during that time. Lots of terrain and lots of miles to be ventured.

That being said I am debating on whether or not to lift now or lift after the whole road trip. Part of me figures why not just burn up the rubber and suspension currently on the truck. Part of me is hating the idea of waiting and also wanting to beef up the rear end before I haul a trailer all day.

I guess I could always install some air bags for the time being, but damn I want to lift my taco.
    Thoughts???

Basically looking for feedback on installing a lift and then putting on a ton of miles away from home. Anyone?

Nothing yet. Old truck had the works.
lift it and keep stock tires maybe?
Depends on the terrain. If its not an off road trailer you should be fine stock since that trailer will limit you to maybe at worst gravel roads. Tacomas stock are really good at this already stock. if your worried about getting your moneys out of it by all means use it stock. Could also lift the back end with some dakars and do the front after.

Post lift vibes could make a very annoying and long road trip, especially for the wife.

Thanks for the responses. I'm thinking that I will have better peace of mind traveling the country without worrying about the suspension. Might just add some bags for the rear to haul a camper.

Yeah I would do it after the trip, better mileage with stock tires than 33's too
