These rear flares seem to do their job, just on the practical side..haha. Found it on TC's website.

Does anybody have better pictures? Maybe of these fenders color-matched and painted on a silver or white truck?

I'm seeing a lot of gaps everywhere in the pictures provided thus far. These pictures just show gaps between the flare and metal fender as well as gaps between the flare and the front bumper extension.

Maybe I missed something, but I'm not seeing a whole lot of flush-fitting flares.

some of that is the mix of the black rubber edge and shadows. the one w/ a big gap, the guy said right above it that he was working on better fitting that one flare. it will take a little time to get them to fit perfect since they are a fiberglass replacement that needs attachment holes made. it is not a simple remove and replace. since i went on a deployment right after these, i still need to adjust mine better, but i have no gaps between the metal and flare, just slight alignment to get them exactly where the stockers were.

Sounds like more work and time than I'm looking to put in to make them fit right. The other fender flares go right on without issue, but these are the only ones (that I'm aware of) that provide any real additional coverage...

these cover more and are cheaper than BW flares. it doesnt take all that long to do. once i get a warm weekend or actually get the truck into the garage, i'll straighten them out. they look fine as they are, but i would liek them better. i rushed to get them on and pics up for JFF so he could market them. i do have to repair one of them as my son's BB goal fell and hit the fender and flare. 2 long dents in the fender and cracked the flare. already have the repair stuff at the house to do it.

I'm sure they look fine to you on a dark truck like yours. I'm just a little more nit-picky than that, plus any gap will look 10x worse on a white truck like mine.

    Hi,

I would like a simple, inexpensive flare with will allow the use of 35 inches tires with a 3" mid travel setup.

I'm actually quite amazed that no one has mass produced a "cut-out" style fender flare for a Tacoma!

It's because it's not that simple. You can't just bolt-up clearance for 35s (well...I guess fiber glass fenders count, so technically you can). The fender flare mounting locations in the fender well need to be physically relocated to clear 35s, and that involves cutting body sheetmetal.

There's no mass market for that. There's not many people willing to cut on their truck, and those that are willing don't need a bolt-up kit. They'll make it work one way or another.

Not exactly. Bushwacker makes some cut out flares for some other trucks, just not tacomas.

If you dig the bolt-on look, which I suppose is a personal thing.

I'm strongly considering custom glass when the time comes, but honestly I'll probably rip the flares off and just take a cutting wheel to it.

the flares are already being produced, so really no more of a discussion on "what if".

    on that note, getting de-stickied.

So did you end up having to do a bit of trimming as you mentioned? If so, where/what exactly did you have to trim? Also, all your images seem to be dead now...

CoTruckin' Can you possibly post some of the pics. They all seem to be dead now.

I ordered my JungleFenderFlares! The FG ones.

Hey man, shoot Blake a message on their Facebook page. They are very quick to reply usually and he is or was just very recently out of the country but still answering emails and messages when able. I've yet to mount mine to tell you more specifics but I'm super stoked to get them on. Again, I think they have more in stock currently but they do seem to go fast. I got their last set this last go round, luckily. These pics are from January 2017, now i'm residing in Belgium and after already ordering the fenders flares, I also found out that I'd have to have something so that my wheels do not extend past the body of the vehicle in order to pass their inspection (CT) here. So I'm hoping I'll double benefit from them. Good luck Austinrauh. Let me know what you end up doing man.
