I am not sure exactly what you mean, but it sounds like you may be referring to a cut-out flare? They would be fender flares that fit on your truck after you have cut your wheel wells bigger. If thats the case, than its very unlikely that we will be making any cut out flares in the near future. Sorry!

Another thought... For any reason, has anybody ever tried installing Short Box fender flares on their Long Box truck? I am guessing that its probably wouldn't be too hard?

In reverse, I can see that the long box ones would be difficult to put on a short box because they would likely bridge the gap between the box and the cab. But the question is; can the short box flares be put on a long box?

some were able to make the BW LB flares work on the SB by heating them up and reforming the bottom fit better. same process wont be possible with the fiberglass.

I have 2 sets of stock flares, 1 set is in good condition and 1 not so much. I am thinking about using dowel rods to space the 2 apart and fiberglassing over them to get some actually extended flares. I like the look of the Bushwackers, but for the price and the amount of additional coverage they provide, I dont see the value.

Depending how they happen to fit, there is a very good chance that it may just take a little trimming/filing off the edges to get them to fit a LB. I am assuming that they were heating them to tighten them up against the body for the SB? So in this case, it would likely need the opposite which would mean trimming to fit the long box. Are there any threads on here with details to people doing either one?

ahh...i see what you mean. from what i could gather before, the LB ones were heated and tucked under to fit the SB at the front of the rear flares.

    sweet thanks.

I'm imagining some extra fabrication might be necessary so everything lines up correctly?

I would like to see flares similar to what I did to my flares. Cut up a bit higher (approx 3 inches) and flared out a little more to keep the nasty stuff from coming up. When I drive through mud or water I see stuff going EVERYWHERE. Kinda funny but at the same time not cool for other people around.

Awsome... I think I will wait for these flares and THEN have bumpers made to fit them, unless your normal width bumper looks good with em.
