Naturally aspirated always wins. Durability is paramount.

4.0 will always make more power than a 3.4. its simple numbers. id rather have a stock 4.0 and build it up than a built 3.4

Me personally for an everyday try to drive it forever vehicle N/A 4.0 but an offroad/track vehicle no doubt the 3.4 supercharged assuming no mods could be done to the 4.0.

exactly, like the poll says supercharged 3.4 or stock 4.0 i do believe there is no replacement for displacement. but with the amount of work and money it would take to swap to a 4.0 and then build it up is just not worth it in my opinion. with the right gears and a good tune with some upgrades the 3.4 will make more than enough power.

I'd rather have a stock 3.4 lol. Until the 4.0 proves its self on durability.

    getting there....
all the drama....and i'll still take the 3.4...super-charged or not. i mean...love the power of the 4.0........but the 3.4 is easier to work on.

the 3.4 has also proven itself time and time again, probably one of the better motors to put a supercharger on as far as durability goes.

We have a guy with a 3.4 SC. He and another guy with a 4.0 NA had a little race not on the road. (So it was legal, play nice)

    The 4.0 won.

    4.0 for the win.

For all those saying wait for the 4.0 to prove itself reliable.

    Seriously...

someone sucked at driving, from driving my truck, and my buddies 09, there is no way he would win if I had a SC. there is a slight difference, but nothing special.
