snugtop shell, tinted windows, speaker upgrades.
After searching high and low in the Reno/Carson City , then Sacramento (and finally begrudingly the SF Bay Area), was able to get a SnugTop Rebel installed without 8-10 week wait at Campway in Martinez CA . Total cost 2550 (including the sales tax and install). Came with the carpet headliner, usb ports/light, fold down front window, regular windows. Being kinda housing/job insecure, its a relief to know I'll have *somewhere* to sleep. Was also re-reminded why I left the Bay Area a few years ago.

Ranch Echo topper . I added roof rails just in case I ever want to out rack on it.

    $1550 with rails .

used toppers in my area have been creeping over $1000 Mark so I just bought a new one.

That is a great deal you got! I was shopping for either Leer 100XR or Snugtop Rebel with similar spec in So Cal and I was quoted between $3100 to $4100 with windoors and Yakima trail. I will post mine with pictures once I get them installed. congrats

Nice shell! I was quoted $2200 + tax for the same shell but decided not to get this one since I wanted to get windoors option.

    There's a few.
I picked up a used 2016 ARE HD with glass windoors for $2000 CAD. Wrong colour so I had it bedlined at a local shop for $400. No warranty but it still cost less than half what a new one costs in Canada, and I love the bedlined look. I only wish the windoors were the vented, tough to be choosy buying used. I got lucky though, it was the only used one in the country at the time and it was within 500 km!

I’m cheap, I’ve been looking for a used cap for almost a year. I’ve only seen 3 for sale relatively close to me and they’ve sold within hours.

Just bought this Century T-Class for $850 this week. Cleaned up really nice, had to get a new wire harness, new twist-locks, and seal for the bed. Everything works, even the LED dome light. Also has manufacture date stickers on each window inside, all say 2016.

I debadged the Century logo off the side, and beneath it is an indent for a Leer badge, (who knew?!). All in all, it’ll be great for camping in.

Same company, same factory, same molds. Only difference is the badging. Same is true for Raider brand caps.

How much would you guys say is a good/fair price for a used (they're saying 6months) ARE CX with windoors, carpeting + a yakima rack up top? They have it up for almost 2gs right now... Also doesn't match my color so I'd either OTR spray it or find somewhere to get it matching w/ Army Green.

I'm the same way. Been looking for months and very little to find around Milwaukee. Frustrating.

    It's complicated.
IMO that's very fair. The windoors, carpeting, and Yakima rack drive up the price & value. Also, ARE is running a year out from order to delivery.

Thanks for the response, yeah I think it was "fair" given how it's no longer available haha. I couldn't convince myself to pull the trigger though and almost bought a different used one for ~900 (less windoors and a little older / more used), but I realized I'll be thinking "what if" regarding one that I really want. So instead, just put in an order for an RSI Smartcap!

Picked up this used Leer for $400. It appears to be a radiant red model, but is a close enough match to my Barcelona red model. It was also on an AC model, so the front tilts forward just a bit more. I had to make one stop on the way home, as the upper portion of the rubber gasket on the shell was rubbing against my cab. I've got some parts on order, as the previous owner didn't have the keys any more, plus it needs more weatherstripping and I need to wire up the brake light, along with a new dome light. I'm not quite sure what model it is, but I did email Leer with the serial number to see if they get back to me with some info.

The standard cab toppers are made different than the extended cab which it seems you have. Some have caused damage by using the extended cab versions on the std cab when offroad and twisting up the truck a bit.

Took me forever to find a specific standard cab topper in the right color used when I had a std cab truck.

This is more of a daily driver than a hard core off-roader. While I might go explore a few trails here locally, most of my off highway excursions will be taking my toy to the dunes, so I’m not as concerned about the proximity at the top. The hardest part is in trying to clean the facing surfaces of the cab rear window/shell front window.

$1500.00 Craigslist find. Was my color and there was no ridiculous wait so I grabbed it!

When I bought my truck, I had to have a canopy. $3,300.00 for the Leer I wanted. OUCH.
At that time, I put the purchase on simmer on the back burner.
Patience paid off. I Found one on FB Marketplace - Snugtop Cab-Hi.
With what was included, based on my previous research, I thought the listed price was more than reasonable.
I paid the seller the asking price of $900.
Three of us set it on the truck, I snugged it in place, shook the sellers hand, and said Thank-You. I like it.

The canopy has the carpeted interior, the USB/3rd Brake-Light Assy as well.
The color of the canopy, I think it accents the truck colors very well.

Honestly, I felt like a thief, and told the seller that.
He said he was selling to get it off his list of things to do because he was moving to Kentucky.
At that point................I felt a little better.
