I just got some Moto Metal 951 rims and I want to clean and scrub the tires but don't need anything that will harm the wheel surface.......any suggestions? Anyone have any prior experiences? Thanks

i just use a sponge and dish soap on my painted wheels. just don't use a brush and it should be good. if the paint flakes, then the job was crap

I get it from Wal Mart and I use it on everything. I just don't let it set on any surface too long. Just long enough to spray both rims on one side and then rinse .I guess that is with any de-greaser though. Been using it for several years but sometimes you need to put some muscle into it.

The OP is looking for tire cleaner.

That won't hurt his new rims.

Water, a good tire brush and a hell of a lot of elbow grease.

I don't care for tire degreasers.

Westleys "Bleach White" does wonders and wheel safe! Good for inner fenders also.

FYI when spraying it--avoid getting it in your face or breathing it, very strong shit

I use MOTHERS, wheel and tire cleaner.
Works awsome... leaves my tires like new.
No crud or oily residue on them...
