Glad to hear this, it confirms the umpteen reviews I read on the Discount Tire website that convinced me to buy a set. I decided to move up a size as well, my current tires are Dunlop Grand Trek AT20's in 245/75-16; they ride really good, and unfortunately still have quite a bit of tread on them, but they suck at anything off pavement. I bought the 'Kooks in 265/75-16, get them installed on Friday. I drive mostly highway, but still need some capability when pulling a trailer across a grass field or for snow use. I don't need or want the extra-heavy duty E rated tires, these come in SL or E rating, so I got the SL's. Can't wait to get them on the truck. They have a 50K mile treadwear warranty, and several reviewers said they had over 70K on their tires before needing replacement.

I handle hundreds of tires as well see 300 thousand tires daily. There's nothing like the beauty KO2's, Cooper STT PRO, Toyo O/C, and Falken AT3.

I've had Michelins as OEM tires twice, both Hondas. MXV4 and Latitude Tour, both lasted more than 70k miles. Had a set of LTX M/S for my 1st gen and went about 70k miles with plenty of tread left before I replaced them as they were nearing 9 years old.

Like many, I wish they had a set a notch more off-road oriented than the LTX AT2.

Edit: That's 3 times. LTX MS tires also came with our Class C motorhome - Load range E. Lasted about 20k miles with more than half the tread. Replaced them due to age as well.

Not certain on the model, but on the parents Jeep Grand Cherokee we got about 20k on them before replacing. The Benz E class got about 15k and then were totally shot. Like they looked like racing slicks

+1 for Falken Wildpeak AT3W, just installed 265/75r16 on my stock trd offroad and love them so far. Had them installed for $575 too, much cheaper than KO2s.

Trying to give some additional angles. I’m no photographer. Sorry! But awesome tires. They are more aggressive looking than these pics give credit.

You’re welcome! Good luck in your search. I can’t imagine how expensive tires are on the islands!

I ended up going with the KO2s on mine in C-rated 31x10.5r15, a welcome change from the e-rated bricks I had on all winter. I've had previous versions of the ubiquitous BFG All-Terrains on previous trucks, but this is my first time with the KO2s. Too soon for any kind of wear report, but so far, I'm loving them. They're a perennial classic for a reason. Just stick with a reasonable size and load range and you'll be fine.

Will 265/70/17 good year wranglers tires hit the air dam on stock suspension while turning? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What size are your LTX AT2’s and are they P rated? I have those and want to go with a bigger tire other than the stock 245’s which I have but love my Michelin’s compared to other brands!

Open Country A/T or possibly the ProComp A/T? I was thinking of trying the ProComp based on the low price.
