I have a 2008 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner Access Cab, I need to know which stereo receiver is the best within the $300-$500 range.

I want to be able to utilize my ipod with the cable out of the front or the front and back.

I don't need the Blue Tooth but if it has it that's fine.

The 4" screen that is on display ALL the time, not the ones that open and close.

I don't need DVD but if they only have those its fine.

If possible (and you guys are really good), the MOST visible interface. I have poor vision and I want to be able to navigate the screens without always having my glasses.

^Don't worry I just wear reading glasses, I don't need them while driving ha.

    Thanks guys.

It's pretty decent. Not a fan of kenwood's, the equalizers are all bass, no highs. If you're already paying $300 for that one look at full navigation style ones.

As long as I can set a custom equalizer setting I don' t mind because I always end up doing that anyway. How much are the full navigation/dvd style players? I would love to spend as little as possible ha

The navi/dvd ones are $400+. Probably hard to read some stuff on them also. Personally I wouldn't buy anything double din that's not a navi one. The regular double din's are ugly.

I don't want to pay the extra for the navigation if I don't need it and I really don't. I have an Iphone and a TomTom... I don't mind the way this one looks either. But I def see what you're saying, thanks for the advice.

I have no idea about the sale but I have been following the site for 3 months with no movement on price. Even for Fathers day or the Memorial and 4th of July holidays.

I am waiting for $50 to $75 off. LOL

I already have projects backed up waiting to do. Yardwork is the priority this summer.

The trouble with aftermarket units is the effort to keep the steering wheel controls.

Besides the volume, etc what is needed to maintain the bluetooth controls?

I am deciding whether or not I should get this one or the older model, because I found it for 244.99 on Amazon (refurbished). Plus, it comes with the plastic mounting piece included. I really like those head units
