I've always heard white is the best and black is the worst to try to keep clean. Our house is down 3 miles of dirt roads that always seem to either be dusty or muddy. My silver Chevy seems to not show a lot of dirt. I'm very likely going to pull the trigger on a third gen soon. I'm thinking I need to either get white or silver. What do you guys think?

This! I don’t wash my truck hardly at all. Except when they salt the roads, it doesn’t hide salt at all.

The only way you can tell I went off road is the black fender flares and windows have a nice dusting of dirt. Other than that it's invisible.

The white truck I did own was good at not showing dirt.

Counter-intuitively, White actually does pretty well at hiding grime, salt, etc.

Quicksand! And it has the advantage of being the best color available.

Forgot to mention the wife isn't crazy about quick sand. So excluding quick sand, which would you choose?

Whatever you do, not black. Holy crap! Love my truck but I swear the "dirt fairies" visit my often in the evening and "decorate" it well. Pollen shows, dirt, etc.

White is the best to hide scratches and dirt.

    Quicksand.

    :p

If I had to go with another color, I'd go with a 2018 Cement OR.

Don't worry, I had a 1998 black tacoma. She was a beauty when clean, but that wouldn't last long.

BTW my wife wasn't too keen on Quicksand either. But it's my truck so I bought the color I wanted.
