I recently picked up new tires, and sliders are next on the list, followed by a lift. I'm willing to look at any brand, but I just don't want to put on something that's too bulky, and retains somewhat of a stock look. If you have any pics of what you have installed, that would be appreciated. I have looked at some of the slider threads already, I'd just like to hear from people who personally have different brands on their trucks. Thanks ahead of time.

Thanks. Any benefit to having bolt on, other than being able to remove them? Are they a pain to install with much drilling?

Mine have 4 bolts under the frame on each side to drill. I believe the SB only has 3. It's wonderful when you have to repaint them and can take them off the truck and hang them from the ceiling in great lighting to paint.

He has a new mounting system for them now. Mine are the old style. Hell, you might not even have to drill anymore with the new setup.

SOS concepts full bolt on sliders with kickout.

ZERO drilling in the frame, HUGE frame plate. and they look damn good. So glad i bought mine, worth every penny for the piece of mind alone.

Sliders are likely going to be my first upgrade. In the same boat. Friend of mine has famous fabrications sliders but Derek isn't making them anymore unfortunately

If you're still in the market for sliders, we are offering free shipping right now: Also, we were the first company to build sliders with a kick-out, and likely have the most trail-tested sliders on the market!

How much drilling is required for your bolt on sliders? Does it use any of the factory bolts?

I have the bamf as well without any drilling. SOLID slider. About 9 bolts each side. ca0ef96d83ed78e842cf8ddc06a3f62c_077b94a7b9563b1f4b4337a5188c450653476c9d.jpg

I recommend avid offroad sliders. I got the bolt ons with kickouts. The sliders use the factory bolt holes for running boards which are already on the truck. No drilling needed, and they came with the bolts. You and a friend can install them in ten mins. They are also a vendor on tw.

Yeah, an ugly weld is a weak/bad weld. Def. won't be getting those.

I'm still in the market. How far below the rocker panel do they sit? And how much do they weigh with/without kickout? Thanks.
