I just did my taco's first oil change at 2500 miles. When I opened the motor oil cap near the engine, I found an brown/yellow liquid/solid around the inner surface, and inside the feeder neck that goes to the engine. Below is a picture. I've never seen this on any of my other cars I've done oil changes for, and I was a bit surprised, so I posted here. If anyone knows what this is, thanks! Sorry, if this has been discussed in another thread.

I might just be overreacting, I just love my taco.

Its condensation in the motor most likely due to short trips...engine not reaching full temp before you get to your destination...its happened to alot of ppl so I wouldnt really worry to much about it...

Agreed it'd be hard to search for that. Yellow oil change? Maybe... Hmm

Its cosmoline from the new engine. Nothing to worry about. It common, if you changed your oil with the motor being really hot, you wouldnt have noticed it as much.

I was drawing blank stare question marks on the picture from the OP, until someone offered a reasonable explanation, thanks to Celtic.
