What's Wrong with my wifes car? Alignment?

    When driving, the steering wheel has to be tilted slightly to the left in order for the car to go straight...Is this just an alignment issue? Will an alignment fix that?

    Did this happen suddenly?

    How did it get that way?

    An allignment should fix it, however.... you may need to alert the TECH (guy performing the allignment) that your steering wheel isn't centered.

    In some cases - something mechanically can get out of position at the rack or the steering column linkages, etc. This won't necessarily show up in an allignment check. And - if there is a problem and you don't find it, it'll only get out of position again.
