After lifting the truck, it seems the alignment goes out every 4k miles or so, even though I'm not wheeling it.

I just had the alignment done about 1k miles ago, had the wheels road force balanced, and now have an incessant steering wheel jimmy/shake. The balancing was spot on, so I'm ruling out the balance and thinking its the alignment again. Caster out maybe?

What's your alignment specs set at?
